To start off Harvey our tour guide was very pleasant and knowledgeable. He was a ball of energy which was very refreshing and put everyone in a great mood. Tour was great even though I am not a wine drinker. Loved seeing how everything was made.
Pondview winery was amazing and the best one we went to overall. The food plate was a great idea with the wine.
This tour was amazing recommend to anyone. Going in small or large groups.:)

My husband and I were on this tour as part of our mini-honeymoon. We had a great time. Harvey was our guide. He had a great attitude - nice guy. He was very informative about the area and also told us some cool stories about his biking adventures. The staff at the wineries we visited were very knowledgeable as well. Personally I enjoyed the smaller wineries the best. The lunch at Oban was also very nice.
I would certainly recommend this place for anyone wanting a wine tour that involves learning some stuff along the way:)

I recently purchased tickets for the half day tour with Niagara Vintage Wine Tours. We had 6 people in our group and there were approximately 22 people all together. We had an awesome time on the tour and everything was easy from booking the trip to the time we were picked up at our hotel. Our driver/guide was Harvey and he had a great understanding of the region, as well as some history along the way. He was very friendly and ran a smooth trip. I would definitely book here again.

My wife and I just got back from NOTL, on the Saturday we went on a wonderful wine tour. We were picked up at our hotel about noon and didn't return until about 445. It was a perfect afternoon. We stopped at three wineries in the area two smaller ones and one large one. Each stop consisted of a tour of the facility with samples of the wines of the winery. The first stop was at Pondview. We had a small lesson on what foods to match with what wine. It was great. Then off to Hinterbrook where we had a wonderful tour of this "green" winery. The last stop was at Pilliteri we had a full tour of the facility including the cellar and vineyard. It was a perfect way to spend a Saturday afternoon. One of the best parts of the trip would have to be our Driver Harvey. He knew his stuff, he was funny and personable and made us all feel welcome. I would highly recommend this tour group to anyone going to the region. It was fantastic.

My husband and I did the wine tour this weekend and it was absolutely fantastic. We had 4 wineries scheduled but we had some extra time and our tour guide, Harvey, managed to squeeze an extra one in. We went to Riverview, Reif, Jackson Triggs, Pondview and Between the lines. All were amazing - especially Riverview. We had lunch at St. Charles Inn and it was very delicious.
Overall a fantastic experience. Thank you Harvey for a great day!

We just met Harvey last night at a local restaurant. My girlfriend and I were pondering a trip to wine country where I haven't been for many years. For some reason, I sensed that Harvey might be a good person to ask about the local wine scene. I guess I was right! lol He and his entourage were very engaging and helpful. Though I may never see Harvey again, I am happy to say I met the man, even if only for a point in the right direction!

“Niagara Wine Tour!” Reviewed on ‘Trip Advisor’ on 8 August 2012
My husband and I had been planning to take his parents on a wine tour for over a year now and finally decided a few months back to book it. We had previously toured with Niagara Vintage Wine Tours right after we got married in Aug 2010 as a quick honeymoon getaway before my husband started his surgical residency. We were truly impressed the first time around and decided that booking again with them was a no brainer.
We booked the Half Day Tour with Cheese Platter for 4. While we were on route to Niagara we received a call from the company saying that we had been placed in a private vehicle for the tour. What a nice surprise!! After receiving that call my in-laws were ecstatic that we would get to ride privately and have our own guide. We arrived at our hotel around 11am and were picked up shortly after 11:30am. Harvey was AMAZING! From the moment we met him we knew we were going to have a fantastic day!
We began our tour at ... Estates - which my husband and I had been to previously. We knew it would be a great tour - they have fantastic wine and ice wine and do a great job explaining the process. Very clean and bright facility - and everyone was very warm and welcoming. Our second stop was ... - again, my husband and I had been to this location previously as well. Another wonderful stop; this is where we had the tasting plate paired with certain wines - really lovely! Our third stop was at ... Estates - there were a lot of people at this location, clearly lots of tours were stopping there. We were placed in a scorching hot room in the back to taste the 3 wines they had available. While this isn't a review of the wineries, I have to say that this winery left a lot to be desired. We still aren't sure whether the wine they gave us was just a bad bottle or if that's how it was supposed to taste?! Regardless - it wasn't good. Needless to say, we spent all of 15 min here and decided it was time to go.
Sensing our disappointment Harvey was wonderful and decided to take us to another little winery nearby - and WOW are we glad he did! Harvey took us to ... Winery a short distance away and even though we showed up unannounced they were the most wonderful people!! Michael greeted us warmly and invited us in to taste some of their award winning wines - and from the first glass it was amazing! I think we bought every single sample we tried and then some! ... was wonderful - I will be back in the near future.
Upon leaving ... Winery, Harvey began to drive us back to our hotel - but not before we saw some of the amazing sites that Niagara has to offer! He was so wonderful to stop and show us the Isaac Brock statue, the Niagara Flower Clock, the Hydro Plant and Whirlpool Basin. Without Harvey showing us these attractions we would not have known to go there or see them! We are truly grateful for everything Harvey did for us while we were on the tour - he was wonderful company!
We will be back again to book our third trip with Niagara Vintage Wine Tours in the near future!!!

To Whom It May Concern:
I went on the Sunday Brunch Escape this past Sunday with 3 other family members. Joe and Harvey were our tour guides. Harvey did the talking and Joe (Hrechanyk) did the driving. I wanted to send you a note and let you know how much fun I had on the tour. This was well worth the price of the tour and I learned SO much about wine. Harvey was also full of many fun facts spanning Niagara, Ontario Wine Industry, and other non-Niagara topics. Both Harvey and Joe were very professional and very personable - and they kept all of us smiling and laughing the whole time. All of the wineries were very accommodating and were able to answer all of our questions. The brunch at Queenston Heights was absolutely delicious too.
This was my family's first visit to Niagara (I live in Michigan but they were visiting from Virginia). We all had such a wonderful time and will remember this tour fondly for the rest of our lives. I plan to take other family members on the tour when they visit in the future and I have passed the word on to seveal coworkers who I know are wine enthusiasts. I grew up in California and while the wine tours out there are fun to do - I've never had such a rewarding experience as I did on your tour. California wineries and tours are also very overpriced in comparison to what you offer.
Thank you for providing us with a reasonably priced and fully entertaining option for our vacation. Being pressed financially due to the rough economic times, this was definitely a good alternative to flying out of the country and worth evey cent that we spent! I'll definitely be coming back at least once a year.

Just got back from Niagara and I had to write to say that Harvey absolutely made our stay in Niagara.
My girlfriend and I were a bit nervous about doing a group tour (you never know how the group dynamics will mesh and either make it great, or just so-so), but the whole day was just great. From pick up to drop off, Harvey kept all of us informed and entertained. His wealth of information about the Niagara region, and also the wine making process itself, was so educational. We actually learned more about the falls and the area in the 5 hours with Harvey than we did at the different places right at the falls. In fact, I also think he knew more about the vineyards and the processes than some of the people at the vineyards themselves! It really was quite a treat to spend the afternoon with him as the guide...and if it were possible to request guides I would recommend him to anyone.
Grape and Wine Niagara Tours certainly has quite a jewel in Harvey...hope he continues to share his endless knowledge with the visitors to Niagara!

It was after we booked that we found out that this was a tour that would not have normally been taking place and we got lucky. The small group that we were with was a lot of fun and Harvey really knew his business. We received lots of special treatment from each winery and everyone was personable. Good Morning
Just wanted to say thank you for the wonderful time my husband and I had last Wednesday October 8th on our Grape and Wine tour with Harvey.
Harvey is a very entertaining and knowledgeable guide. He gave us a little history on each estate and also provided us with the history of the Niagara wine country.
We found the tour very interesting and enjoyed every moment.
We visited.... four wineries
Everyone was very nice and made us feel welcome.
The wine tasting was also great.
The restaurant where we had dinner was simply divine. The food and the atmosphere were excellent. Unfortunately, I am unable to remember the name of the Restaurant where we ate (too much wine).

We really enjoyed the 1st winery 'Riverview' and the talk about the workings of the winery by Mike. All your tours should go to this winery. The wine was pretty good too!!

My husband and I took your wine tour on September 9th. We really enjoyed it, being from Alberta this was the first time we had seen vineyards and wineries, this was something totally new.
Your drive and guide, Harvey, was awesome and very knowledgeable, he explained all the ins and outs of climate and grape production. Also how the business works.

To Whom It May Concern;
We wanted to send this email to let you know how wonderful our wine tour was with our driver, Harvey.
On August 24, 2008 we booked a wine tour through the Holiday Inn in St. Catharines to tour 4 wineries and have dinner for our 22nd anniversary.
From the moment we were picked up from the hotel by the tour owners, we knew that we were in for a great experience. This was our first wine tour, and we weren't sure what to expect. We were then turned over to Harvey, to start a simply fantastic tour.
Harvey was full of information and humor, and made us feel as though we had known him our entire life. He made the tour fun, informative, and exciting both on the road, and at the wineries. It was pleasing to see that the owners of all the wineries, and the restaurant talked very highly of him and they were happy for us that we had him as our driver. They all told us we were in for a fun day!
We were his last drop-off of the day, and we wound up chatting with him for awhile after the tour was over. He is a very interesting person, and we hope that we cross paths with him in the future! We would love to have him as our driver again as he was simply awesome! Everyone else on our tour shared the same outlook about him as we did; they were very impressed with him also.
We definitely will book another tour with you again in the future, and we would like for you to add us to your mailing list .....

The restaurant wasn't what I was expecting. I thought we'd have lunch at a greasy spoon and was totally in awe when we walked into the facility. We were treated like royalty. Tell Harvey the chocolate was a great way to end the day.
We have our favourites'; Krystal is still talking about Kevin and I stand my ground that Jeff at Coyote Run was the most passionate about his wine. Who knew a wine was 'muscular' (Jeff's words). He gave me goose bumps!!! I have a whole new appreciation for wine. I've told everyone here at work about it and will most definitely do it again.

My name is Maggie, and on Thanksgiving weekend I had a tour with your company, this was the 2nd year in a row. Last year Mark and I had Kathy as a tour guide and she was amazing! This year we had Harvey who was also amazing! He was very informative, friendly, and went out of his way to make our group's trip, fun, educational, and memorable!
